This Shiraz is a true expression of the Grampians region. It is crafted for easy enjoyment and matured in oak for balance and depth. It has a smooth texture, bright fruit characters with a touch of spice. Ideal to pair with roasted or barbecued lamb . a charcuterie or simply shared moments with friends.
Small open fermenters allow the yeast to reach just the right temperature to extract the tannins for structure in the years ahead. The wine is aged in small French and American oak for 15 months.

“Deep purple hues are brought to life with a fragrance lifted in viognier-led aromatic florals, fine white pepper, briar, earth, black fruits and blood plum. The palate, compact and elegant, moves along a line of firm tannin with attractive ripe dark fruits cloaked in pepper and spice with sappy green edges. Ripe tannins sit discreetly throughout. It's early days, but, such is the balance, it can be opened and enjoyed now”.
